SC Torpedoes Family Beach Fun Day – from 11:30, Sunday 20th July, Old Felixstowe Beach‏

To all members,

The coaches and committee would like to invite you and your players to join us for our family fun day at the beach.

We plan to meet at the dip on Cliff Road, Old Felixstowe from 11:30 on Sunday 20th July (near the lifeguard hut and toilet block opposite the Pines/Cliff Road junction.) If you arrive later look for the big group nearby on the beach.

Bring your costumes and towels, plus a picnic/bbq, sun tent etc….. and hopefully lots of sun cream.

We will keep an eye on the weather forecast and if not good and we have to cancel, we will put a message on the website by 10:00am on so please check www.sc-torpedoes.co.uk just in case.

Parking is available on the Cliff Top car parks nearby, parking enforcement is active in the area and people who park on the grass verges have been known to getparking penalties so you have been warned.

Please note this is not a supervised event and parents are expected to be responsible for the safety of their own children.

The Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes Water Polo Club will hold our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 25th June 2014, 7:30pm at Martlesham Beacon Hill School.

We would welcome and encourage all club members (players and parents) to attend. Please note only member aged 16+ will be able to vote.

Ros Perry and Anna Mclean have chosen to step down from their roles on the committee, so on behalf of the club I would like to say a big thank you from us all to them all of their efforts supporting our club since we formed 18 months ago.

So we have a number of roles vacant on the committee at present and would welcome more new committee members to share the workload.

We are a friendly committee who try our best to provide good water polo opportunities for our members, we only hold four formal meetings committee per year and use email in between to discuss topics.

Suffolk Coastal Torpedoes U14 matches –

The keen eyed amongst you spotted a mistake in the list of dates when our U14s play in Basildon – the correct date is Wed 16th July 8pm not June as published. Sorry.

Family Beach Day/BBQ

Sunday 20th July 11:30 am –Old Felixstowe Seafront

We plan to have a family beach day, and attempt to stage a few friendly water polo games in the sea and hopefully enjoy the summer weather!
